COMUNITY ARTS PROGRAM

Our Community Arts Programs are designed for at risk youth and young adults including the general public in Pasquotank County, North Carolina. We cultivate talents while addressing crisis needs of our youth as participants develop the self-expression skills and valuable job skills to maintain self-esteem and self-sufficiency. All of the Arts Programs components are free and accessible to the general pubic.

Program areas of study include:
MURAL PAINTING, CREATIVE WRITING, 2 & 3 DIMENSIONAL DESIGNS, COMPUTER GRAPHICS & DIGITAL IMAGING, PHOTOGRARHY, PRINT MAKING, CERAMIC SCULPTURE, PRESENTATION & MARKETING

ART'S COOL SERIES
This is a two-year intervention program that will challenge at risk youth to develop and use creative skills in solving problems. The curriculum is structured by incorporating math, science language arts and studio arts in job training program that uses arts education to teach marketable job skills while instilling discipline and building self-esteem through self-expression.

YOUNG MASTERS SERIES SPONSOR THIS SERIES
Young Masters series is a twelve-week long weekly intensive art program. Specifically designed for youth with keen interest in the arts. Emphasis is on Portfolio Development, Advanced art projects and Marketing. The youth in this program study under established professional artists in different disciplines.

COMMUNITY PALETTE SERIES SPONSOR THIS SERIES
This great program is conducted in an open outdoor setting to attract members of the community to participate in free, fun and exciting art projects. It is a monthly activities running from May through October. Professional artists are invited to engage members of the community in wonderful creative processes.

ART'S IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD
We bring the arts to underserved communities while creating opportunities for specific members of the community to experience the arts. Our mobile Studio brings artists to work with children in the public housing, homeless shelters including seniors in the senior citizens facility.
